Nothing brings me more joy than recommending books. But when making Monster Romance recommendations, especially to readers new to the genre, it can be difficult to know where to begin. The monster and paranormal romance subgenres have all the great tropes we love in more mainstream romance books, but when it comes time to recommend them, I often find myself asking, “How monster-y do you like your monsters?” Monstrosity is a spectrum with many facets: culture and mating habits, outward appearance and humanoid-ness, and, of course, peen characteristics.
I think I’d need a PhD to cover all that fully, and they say write what you know, so welcome to my three-part series, The Monster Peen Spectrum. We’re just dipping our toes in today, so make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss out on the more monstrous peens to come.
Part 1 : Fangs, Wings, & Human Peens
These monsters feature all the things we love about non-humans; wings, tails, fangs, horns, and eternal lifespans but their cocks are downright urbane (okay, and maybe a bit larger than expected). This makes a perfect jumping-off point for anyone curious about Monster Romance who isn’t quite ready to go full tentacle yet. Don’t be fooled; these males are monstrous in many ways, but you won’t need a magic potion to fully accommodate them.
